Red Star Pizza
About This Spot
Step inside Red Star Pizza, and you’re immediately wrapped in the comforting buzz of a close-knit local pizzeria, where familiar faces and the irresistible scent of freshly baked dough mingle effortlessly. This isn’t just a spot to grab a quick slice—it’s an unhurried invitation to slow down and savor time spent with friends and family, surrounded by a warm atmosphere that feels like an extension of your own neighborhood kitchen.
The rhythm here is steady but never rushed, a place where the pace is set by welcoming smiles and the careful hands behind the wood-fired oven. The air carries the promise of hearty, unapologetically generous portions crafted with care—not just for sustenance, but for the simple joy of sharing a table and a meal. Whether you’re popping in for a bite to eat or settling in for a casual evening, there’s an inviting ease to every moment.
The menu at Red Star dances between classic comfort and unexpected favorites, offering a range of pizzas that feel both familiar and thoughtfully inventive. It’s the kind of place where you might find a buffalo chicken pizza with just the right kick, or stumble upon a pie topped with tender tortellini and rich roasted peppers, all served alongside the kind of garlic bread and house salads that elevate the experience rather than fill a gap.
Beyond the food, the heartbeat of Red Star Pizza comes from its people. The owner’s presence in the kitchen, crafting pies with genuine attention, and the warm greetings from staff who treat every visitor like an old friend, create a genuine hospitality that extends beyond the plate. Whether you're here for a quick takeout or lingering over hearty servings with loved ones, the welcoming energy is tangible and deeply rooted in community values.
Red Star offers more than just a meal—it’s a place where local flavor means more than ingredients. It’s about the familiar smiles, the shared stories over a cheese-studded slice, and the kind of dependable comfort you crave when you want to feel at home even when you’re out.

You can't go wrong here. Tortellini Di Parma, side salad and garlic bread. Absolutely delicious. Service was spot on, Brittany was a delight. Vito, the owner, running the kitchen, making pies, charismatic, response to his staff. Nice family pizzeria. Talk about keeping local and supporting good establishments, you must try this place. Definitely recommend!!

Best buffalo chicken cheesesteak - I’ve never had a bad one here ever. Lot of meat & sauce is SO good. Whenever I’m in south jersey I make sure to stop for one

I am about to drive almost an hour for this pizza. The chicken parm and buffalo pizza are own their own level. No one else is even on their level yet.

It doesn't matter if you order take out or dine-in. Great food, generous portions, and awesome service is where everything begins after you walk through the door. As you approach the counter you are in awe with the large selection of pizza slices you can order. Definitely something for everyone with what seems like an endless selection of varities and choices; thin crust, pan pizza, sicilian, or personal sized. For starters: the Bruschetta and the Pasta Fagoli are awesome. I had a majority of the pasta dishes and have never been disappointed with anything.

We ate there last Saturday. I had the BigMac pizza and it was a perfect match and tasted exactly like a BigMac. We were greeted by a young lady as we walked in the door. She wore a large smile with a happy "Hello". I will definitely be back for another slice.

Absolutely loaded buffalo chicken pizza. So tasty and flavorful too, you really get your money's worth. Additionally, the employees are always quite nice.

We were pleased to find this place on our way back from the shore to PA. My wife had a burger and crispy fries for reasonable cost. I had veal parm that was excellent and generous portions. Folks who live in the area are lucky to have Red Star near them.

My husband and I always order takeout. So far we have ordered their Sicilian pizza and 20 inch cheesesteaks. Their food tastes amazing and you can't beat their prices! Their cheesesteaks are never soggy. The cheese is melted perfectly into the meat, which you get plenty of. It serves 4 people!
